Tim, When Did You Start Watching MRN?
« on: May 30, 2011, 07:46:07 AM »
You may have mentioned this on the blog somewhere but I thought I would ask.  When did you first watch MRN?  Were you an avid everyday fan back in the day?  I was born in '82 so I grew up during the 80s era.  For me, everyday it was MRN and Sesame Street.    I can remember in the 90s when they were still showing pre-79s.  I thought it was so cool.  I wished I had used the VCR more often then.

I grew up on those same two shows (among others) -- Sesame Street and Mister Rogers. The main chunk of time I watched the Neighborhood program as a kid would have been from the late 70s into the early-80s. After that, I hit the point where GI Joe and He-Man were much more important to me than Mister Rogers.

I'd be curious to hear from some people who watched the show in the late 60s when it first started.
