It's such a good feeling Original Lyrics
« on: June 21, 2016, 07:19:04 PM »
Does anyone know why the lyrics "Grow twelve inches today" was then replaced with "Make a snappy new day", and what was the last Program that used the "Grow twelve inches today" lyrics?  Was it the Cassette tape of A Place of our own that had the 12 inch verse?

A rumor is that censors forced Fred to remove the 12 inches line, but most of us agree that isn't likely.

Tim would know when the last program to use "12 inches" was.  It was probably the last time that Good Feeling was used as a non-closing song.  I think that might have been Episode 1234, but I don't know for sure.  Hopefully Tim will respond.

I think those details were included in that other thread about the closing song. Unless indicated otherwise in that thread, I'd say it's 99% safe to assume that all episodes following those discussed there did not include the "12 inches" line. Of course, if any show up among those I've yet to cover, I'll try my best to remember to mention that here.
