So...... this is happening.

Saw a commercial for it before the episode this morning.
I have to say, this leaves me.....deeply uneasy.  While I am still a fan of the  TV show in general and still fully support Angela's intentions behind it.. I have a strong feeling  Fred would not suppourt his little show getting a full-scale tour like this.  (bka, or anyone,  did Fred or any of the Neighborhood characters or puppets go to malls or anything like that?  Don't remember anything like this before with Fred's show.)

Discuss.

....Huh.  Okay, so Fred did at least one. :)
Still unsure about this DTN show, though....

I guess I don't see what the problem with it is. It helps create more awareness for the show and helps to drive merchandise sales which also help keep the show in production. With PBS funding being cut all the time it's more necessary than it ever would have been during the MRN days.

Fred Rogers, Betty Aberlin, David Newell and Francios Clemmons did a show at Symphony Hall in Boston. That was on March 22, 1986. This was a year after Fred visited Boston for a visit with the Empire Brass Quintet. I was lucky to get tickets for the show, too.
