Though Else Neal was never featured in the post 79 episodes She's mentioned in Episode 1464.

Was she still considered part of the cast inspite not being seen in the later years?

I'm guessing as of 1979, either Elsie Neal hadn't decided to not appear in any more episodes, or Fred hadn't decided not to have her in any more episodes.  Plus, keep in mind that 1464 was only 11 episodes after her most recent appearance (1453, according to Tim's files), and kids watching the show would have been familiar with her, since the pre-79s were still airing regularly.  Even as late as 1994, kids would have seen her just 8 days earlier, since in 1992, 1993, and 1994, 1451-1455 was immediately followed by 1461-1465.

Why would you suggest that Fred wouldn't of wanted her in the later episodes?

I highly doubt he would of fired anyone unless they did something wrong.

I wasn't suggesting anything.  Just that whoever's decision it was for Elsie Neal to not appear after 1975 was possibly not yet made by 1979.
