I'm fairly sure I've seen that once, too, but it was a while ago. Do you have an idea of when you had seen it? I'll look it up on waybackmachine or something like that!

General Discussion / Re: Issue with Converting a Video

After searching vigorously I have solved the issue of getting this article. Whereas I use VLC media player, so I converted the video into Mp4 perfectly. And just now, I've finished editing the video.

General Discussion / Issue with Converting a Video
« Last post by BennieHaag on March 12, 2021, 07:44:28 AM »
Hello Friends, I have downloaded a video from a specific website and it has downloaded in the WebM format. Whenever I try to edit this video, it is not supporting for the WebM format. Can anyone help me to convert the video from WebM to Mp4?
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Episodes / Re: Edited episodes
« Last post by MIKEBENNIDICT on January 06, 2021, 04:09:47 PM »
You know this may have nothing to do with anything but in many episodes from the first 3 seasons there were various technical goofs such as boom mic shadows and even some studio noises.

Perhaps devices or whatever.

The episodes where Betty goes to pick up balloons and tries to come in the big window that didn't exist later on.

Shortly after she entered just before seeing the actual mic there's a sound of something probably connected to the equipment.

I wonder if some of the editing in seasons 2 and 3 may have been because of such things but them more likely not since we can plainly see then on Amazon or www.misterrogers.org/

With perhaps the PP films I wonder if any royalty issues may had forced any edditing later on?

Announcements & Notes / Mister Rogers ASL Friends
« Last post by ASL Friends on December 29, 2020, 11:09:58 AM »
Hello,
I'm grateful to be included in The Neighborhood Forum.  What an opportunity to continue sharing and remembering Fred Rogers legacy with like-minded neighbors!

As founder of ASL Friends, I would like to share our efforts to make "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" accessible through American Sign Language.  "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" is a powerful language model that has been successful teaching English as a Second Language to hearing individuals.  For young deaf children and their families, when "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" is combined with Deaf signers the impact is profound.  Many deaf children are isolated due to the lack of communication in their environments.  The rich content of "Mister Rogers' ASL Friends" offers a bridge out of isolation.

Join our efforts to create theme week "Going Away and Coming Back" with American Sign Language under the direction of Deaf director/producer James DeBee by sharing or contributing to our GoFundMe Charity Campaign https://charity.gofundme.com/o/en/campaign/mister-rogers-asl-friends
Our non-profit organization welcomes all contributions large and small.  All contributions are tax deductible.

The idea to add sign language to "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" started long ago.  Fred was very pleased that his program would one day be accessible to young deaf children.  While Fred Rogers Productions supports our efforts, it's important to note that any funds solicited for ASL Friends, Inc. are not being solicited by, or on behalf of, Fred Rogers Productions.

I have been desperately waiting for Episode 1035 to show up on the Website with the 5 episodes every other Monday. It’s the one where Fred has a helium tank and blows up the balloons. Apparently they’re still on the 1968 (black and white) this week, but in one of the episodes it shows Robert Troll’s first appearance which was apparently in Late March 1969 which is when the balloon episode aired. And that was in color.

Tried getting in contact with Family Communications months ago in February or March because that’s the one episode I’ve been waiting for in this rotten joke of a year and it would make me super ecstatic to have a copy of it. I don’t know where the screenshots of it came from. And I asked whoever uploaded them onto the Wiki and he can’t even get me a copy on DVD. Someone else even had the ENDING uploaded on YouTube.

Someone please direct me to the right place, how I can actually speak to somebody at FC. I’m borderline depressed right now and that’s just one thing that I want that will cheer me up. sprobb1989@gmail.com

General Discussion / Re: Are the collection DVDs targeted at adults than kids?
« Last post by Eric S on October 26, 2020, 01:34:42 PM »
I think the Fred Rogers Company is happy to get whatever audience they can. As an adult collector the thing that bugs me is the scattershot arrangement of episodes- an episode from this week, and episode from that week, with little or no continuity. But on second thought I feel like that would be equally frustrating for a kid, who would become invested in the story or themes and want to know what else would happen. I think the most likely audience they are targetting then is the casual fan, who remembers Mr Rogers from their childhood and wants to share it with their kid, but wants to see a wide array of episodes and themes.

I picked it up today- I still don't see it on Amazon. Here are some photos https://imgur.com/a/HYt7dMw

I happened to notice a new collection of episodes at Target today- the Meeting New Friends collection. Blue cover in the style of the previous 30 episode sets. The info on the back is so scarce that I decided to pull it up online and see if it contained any particularly rare episodes- I couldn't find it anywhere. Amazon didn't have it listed even as coming soon and didn't recognize the barcode. Unfortunately I didn't think to take a picture- might have to run back and grab it. Has anyone gotten this yet?
