THE NEIGHBORHOOD ARCHIVE - All Things Mister Rogers

Daniel's Doll

Episode 317
Title Firefighters At School
Daniel's Doll
Air Date September 5, 2017

Daniel Tiger is pretending to be Tigey the Adventure Tiger. Grandpere is visiting and has sewn homemade baby dolls for Daniel and Margaret. He explains to Daniel that he is both a sailor and a doll maker.

At the treehouse, Daniel plays with Katerina Kittycat and O the Owl who are pretending to be a super ballerina and a super librarian. Rather than be Tigey the Adventure Tiger, Daniel decides he'd rather care for his baby doll and pretend to be a daddy instead.

Katerina and O play family with Daniel. Daniel make-believes that they are caring for lots and lots of babies.

While their babies sleep, Daniel and his friends pretend in different roles. Katerina pretends to be a baby while O is a grandpa and a doctor.
