THE NEIGHBORHOOD ARCHIVE - All Things Mister Rogers

Treasure Hunt at the Castle

Episode 307
Title Daniel and Margaret Play School
Treausure Hunt at the Castle
Air Date January 17, 2017

Daniel Tiger visits the castle to play with Prince Wednesday and Chrissie. While the boys want to play dinosaurs, Chrissie suggests having a treasure hunt. Queen Sara reminds them all that they are big enough to think of what to do in this situation. Working together to come up with a solution, they decide to take turns.

Starting with a treasure hunt, the friends "discover" rocks in the back yard near the pond.

Daniel make-believes that he is playing with the many creatures that live in the pond.

As the friends show each other the rocks they have found, they each find that they wish they had a rock discovered by someone else. Thinking of what to do, they solve the problem by sharing their discoveries with one another.

The play time together is concluded by playing dinosaurs.
